Our Team
Our team consists of young, motivated, ambitious and well educated professionals that come from different sectors which bring with them a broad local and international professional experience. Our company’s core values (as mentioned above) are the road map that shapes our team’s professional values and facilitates them in being proactive with all the challenging projects that our company participates. In addition to our full-time team, we continuously cooperate with specific leading industry experts (as collaborators of A&B) by contracting them on a project by project basis. This collaboration aids us to maintain our company’s commitment to provide expert consultancy from the leading experts.
Mr. Besnik Leskaj
Mr. Leskaj has a great experience in the management field. He is graduaded in Italy on Business Administration and in France for International Commerce. Mr. Leskaj has a short working experience in France with the companies Smatho and Deroche as expert in import-export field and in 2003 returns to Albania. After an experience in a construction company named Matriks Konstruksion, one of the biggest in Albania, Mr. Leskaj in May 2004 has been engaged in the public sector as the Minister of Economy Counseler and later on he is appointed as the General Director of Albanian National Air Traffic Agency. At the same time he was teaching Financial Rights in the Luarasi Law Faculty. From October 2005 Mr. Leskaj is part time engaged at University of Tirana teaching Integration Economy. Since February 2006 Mr. Leskaj and Ms.Gurabardhi established A&B Business Consulting.
Ms. Arta Gurabardhi
Ms. Gurabardhi has a successful experience in the financial and banking sector. Graduated in the University of Tirana- Economic Faculty and after working in the banking sector, holding the position of Director of Finance, Accounting and Cost Control at NATA (National Agency of the Air Traffic) Ms. Gurabardhi is a key person in the company. Her experience includes projects of the company Brown & Root Services, in NGO etc. Since February 2006 Ms. Gurabardhi is one of the partners of A&B Consulting.
Mr. Redi Basha
Mr. Basha has gained a valuable experience working as a young trainee lawyer in a City of London Law Firm. Following his graduation with honors in Law (LLB) at the University of Liverpool in 2006, Mr. Basha commenced (2007) the Legal Practice Course at BPP Law School in Manchester. Following the commended graduation, Mr. Basha joined Loudouns Law Firm working as an assistant lawyer in the commercial litigation and arbitration department where he managed to maintain his own case files quantum ranging from £ 300k to £ 5million. He gained extensive experience on High Court (Royal Court of Justice) cases and in particular prepared, submitted and advocated the 1st High Court Order pursuant to Cross Border Insolvency Regulation 2006 (part of UNCITRAL Model Law on Cross Border Insolvency) where an order granting stay of legal proceedings was lifted by a High Court Judge. In November 2009, Mr. Basha joined A&B Business Consulting where he continuously provides legal advice to international companies seeking to invest in different sector in Albania, undertakes legal due diligence on mergers and acquisition, provides legal advice on financing and refinancing deals, maintains his own case files on a number of corporate clients, prepares legal opinion on specific industry sector for the purpose of direct investments in Albania, interviews clients and provides them preliminary legal advice, facilitates the financial consultancy department with legal advice on several projects. Member of the Law Society of England and Wales, European Young Bar Association and Albanian Bar Association.
Adv. Dorjana Maliqi
Ms. Maliqi has a valued experience in the legal sector. She received a Law Degree from the University of Tirana, Faculty of Law in 2005. Ms Maliqi has an excellent experience working for the public sector at the Ministry of Justice, General Prison Directorate. From 2007 she is member of Albanian Bar Association and ADA
(Albanian Diplomatic Academy). She joined Qirjako Law Firm in 2007, a firm with an outstanding litigation practice, representing domestic and foreign corporations in their general corporate and commercial issues on all levels of Albanian Courts. She has defended various companies’ interests with the government agencies, tax office customs and other various ministries. On March 2009, she joined A&B Business Consulting where she invests all her knowledge to create a solid legal sector. She has shown excellent skills in the drafting and maintaining the legal files of the Kristal Shopping Center and provides legal advice on tax issues. Among other matters, she drafts various commercial contracts; she advices on employment law issues; advices on tax issues; incorporation, registration and liquidation of companies. She aids the financial department by providing legal opinion on various Market Studies, Feasibility Studies and legal due diligences.
Ms. Blerina hilaj
Ms. Hilaj has an excellent experience in accounting sector. Graduated with distinguished in Business Administration at the University of Shkodra in 1997, Ms Hilaj began working in accounting in private sector. In 2004 joined Council of Ministers working as a senior accountant in the NSA (National Security Authority) directory. In public sector she gains valuable experience in Public Procurement. In July 2008 joined A&B Business Consulting where she provides an excellent fiscal and accounting consultation and now is graduated in Accounting and Audit Master with Merit. She knows very well National and International Accounting Standards. She looks after the accounting of many companies that operates in different fields such as construction, retail, leisure and on the energy sector.
Ms. Iris Ago
Ms. Ago graduated in 2009 in Accounting at the University of Tirana. She has joined A&B Business in 2008 as a bright student while still studying at the university. Ms. Ago has a firsthand experience on fiscal issues and leasing accounting. She maintains her own case file on accounting of private companies operating in different sectors such as construction, retail, leisure and on the energy sector. Ms. Ago is familiar and very much accustomed with National and International Accounting Standards
